Cryptocurrency betting and casino platform Stake has obtained the naming rights for Sauber’s Formula 1 car for the 2024 and 2025 seasons.
On January 1st, Stake made an announcement revealing their transition into Formula One, as they will feature as the primary sponsor for Sauber’s C44, which will be rebranded as Audi’s factory team in 2026.

Name Change and Launch
Sauber’s Formula 1 car will be rebranded as the “Kick Sauber C44.” The Sauber team will be officially known as “Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber,” and the car will be called “Kick Sauber C44.” The 2024 Stake F1 Team is set to be launched at an event in London in February 2024.
Canadian rapper Drake, who is also a brand ambassador for Stake, participated in promotional activities for the launch on Instagram. Stake also sponsors the Premier League side Everton and has an endorsement deal with Drake.
Drivers and Team Performance
Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu will continue as Sauber’s drivers. Sauber finished ninth in the Constructors’ Championship in the previous season.

Cryptocurrency sponsors are becoming more common in Formula 1, with OKX partnering with McLaren and Crypto.com sponsoring both the Grand Prix circuits and the Aston Martin F1 team.
